Day 7 Tassie Tasting Trippers

Started the day at the Salamanca Markets in Hobart then long drive back to Launceston via a micro distillery in Deloraine. Sorry no pics of dinner we were very hungry and the ravioli was deeelicious!

Day 6 Tasmanian Touring Terrorists

Today we toured the MONA in Hobart, accessed by ferry down the Derwent river.

We also risked life and limb (not necessarily ours) on scooters

A chilly visit to Mount Wellington

And a delightful evening of food and drink (I think I may have died and gone to heaven) in the Salamanca district

Day 5 Tasmanian Escapade

Sunrise at Swansea then along the coast (and 28km of dirt road....thanks Siri) to Port Arthur

The weather turned cold and coats and beanies required.

left Port Arthur and drove to Hobart now our base for 2 nights.

Day 4 Tasmanian Odyssey

We found the penguins that were missing from last night.....hanging out with some seals just offshore.

then on to Freycinet peninsula

Day 3 Tassie Adventure

Launceston to Binalong Bay (or Binalong Day according to Craig) then Bicheno for a blowhole and some penguin watching (unfortunately a no show)

Day 2 Tassie Trip

Trams, taxis, Ubers and planes. From breakfast in Melbourne to dinner in Launceston. Picked up our new wheels for the Grand Tour of the Apple Isle.
